ABSTRACT
This article discusses the issue of corruption in the most vulnerable sectors of public administration. It also characterizes the issue of corruption from a legal and social perspective. The institutions and entities responsible for detecting, preventing, and combating corruption in Poland are identified. Based on relevant literature, the analysis focuses mainly on the health sector, the economy, civil service activities, and the organization of tenders. The results of the research lead to the conclusion that this area of activity should be constantly monitored, the role of public institutions and bodies should be increased, and so-called dead regulations should be eliminated.
