ABSTRACT
The aim of this article is to analyze the role and involvement of Volunteer Fire Departments (OSP) and Rural Women's Associations (KGW) in efforts to improve the safety of local communities. The study focused on identifying the activities undertaken by these organizations and assessing the degree of their cooperation. The research problem concerns the scope of participation of the Volunteer Fire Departments (OSP) and KGW in activities related to local safety. It aims to answer the question: To what extent do the OSP and KGW participate in activities related to the safety of local communities? The research hypothesis to be tested is: A high level of cooperation between the OSP and KGW positively influences the effectiveness of undertaken activities. Qualitative methods were used, including interviews with representatives of the OSP and KGW and analysis of local safety strategy documents. The research results indicate that integrating the activities of these organizations strengthens community resilience to threats and contributes to building a culture of safety at the local level.
