The aim of this study is to theoretically analyze the phenomenon of mental resilience of uniformed services officers in the context of their operational readiness and effectiveness. Psychological resilience is presented as a key adaptive resource enabling emotional and cognitive balance, sound decision-making, and effective teamwork in high-pressure situations. Based on a review of the literature and available research, the paper discusses the sources of stress in uniformed professions, the long-term consequences of chronic stress exposure, and coping mechanisms, with particular emphasis on task-oriented strategies and the role of social support. The systemic significance of psychological resilience is highlighted in maintaining the effectiveness of institutions responsible for public safety. The article concludes with practical recommendations for strengthening officers’ mental resilience through training, organizational support, and preventive measures.
